How to buy memecoins on Solana
Four practical routes—from the easiest search-and-buy flow to a direct Phantom swap.

Before you buy anything
Get the full contract address, usually called the CA. A ticker such as $DOG can belong to many unrelated tokens. Searching the exact CA is the best way to avoid buying a copy. Then check the chain says Solana, confirm there is usable liquidity, and start with an amount small enough to lose completely.
1. Easiest: Fomo Family
Open Fomo Family, create or connect your account, and follow its funding flow. Paste the full contract address into search, open the matching Solana token, choose your amount, review the quote, and buy. Fomo is the easiest starting point when you want a simple multi-chain interface funded in USD and the ability to see popular traders.
Do not trust the ticker or token picture by itself. Compare the CA character for character before confirming.
2. Fast in Telegram: Trojan
Open Trojan from the link on this page, press Start, and find the Solana wallet address at the top of its main menu. Send a small amount of SOL to that address. Then paste a CA into the bot, choose a buy amount, and review the confirmation.
Trojan is useful for quick Telegram access, preset buy and sell buttons, and more execution control than a basic wallet swap. It creates a trading wallet, so secure its recovery or export details and keep only active trading funds there.
3. More research and control: Axiom
Open Axiom, create or connect your account, and fund the displayed Solana wallet with a small amount of SOL. Search the exact CA. Axiom puts the chart, trades, holders, wallet activity, and buy or sell controls together, which makes it easier to research while managing an active position.
The extra controls are useful only when you understand them. Check order size, slippage, priority fee, and the selected wallet before confirming.
4. Direct: swap inside Phantom
Open Phantom, choose Swap, select SOL as the token you are paying with, and paste the destination token's exact CA. Enter a small amount and inspect the preview. Confirm the token, expected amount, price impact, fees, and final wallet balance before approving.
This is the raw, simple route. It is convenient but gives you less chart context and fewer position-management tools than a trading terminal.
